Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
  • Wishlist details, such as products added, date of addition, name and privacy settings of your wishlists.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms and Newsletter

Our contact forms are for internal use only. When you contact us you are authorizing us to respond to you via email or other methods. We do not share your contact information with a third party unless it is required to address the issue (such as transaction problems). At the conclusion of correspondence, we maintain a record of the emails for a period of 7 years.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter or if you are a member of our website (you can log in) or if you have purchased on our website, there is a good chance you will receive emails from us.

We will only send you emails which you have signed up to receive, or which pertain to the services we provided to you.

To send you emails, we use the name and email address you provide us. Our site also logs the IP address you used when you signed up for the service to prevent abuse of the system.

This website can send emails through the MailPoet sending service. This service allows us to track opens and clicks on our emails. We use this information to improve the content of our newsletters.

No identifiable information is otherwise tracked outside this website except for the email address.

We have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

When you make a purchase on this website your payment information is transmitted securely to our merchant processing service PayPal. They use this information to process your credit card transactions. They receive your name, address, credit card number, and purchase information such as purchase total, currency, billing information. For taxes: the value of goods in the cart, value of shipping, destination address. For checkout rates: destination address, purchased product IDs, dimensions, weight, and quantities. For shipping labels: customer’s name, address as well as the dimensions, weight, and quantities of purchased products.

Data Synced: For payments, we send the purchase total, currency and customer’s billing information to the respective payment processor. Please see the respective third party’s privacy policy for more details. For automated taxes we send the value of goods in the cart, the value of shipping, and the destination address to TaxJar. Please see TaxJar’s Privacy Policy for details about how they handle this information. For checkout rates we send the destination ZIP/postal code and purchased product dimensions, weight and quantities to USPS. For shipping labels we send the customer’s name, address as well as the dimensions, weight, and quantities of purchased products to EasyPost. We also store the purchased shipping labels on our server to make it easy to reprint them and handle support requests.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We retain purchase information for a period of ten years from the transaction date to comply with accounting and tax regulations.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. How we protect your data

We encrypt all information before transmitting it to remote processing systems. We do not retain your credit card information. We are required to meet all the Payment Card Industry Compliance requirements that help to provide a safe and secure transaction environment for our customers. This level of security is regarded as safe by the banking system.

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the event of a breach, we will notify all affected users to change usernames and passwords used on our site. We will never ask you for your password. Since we do not retain credit card information there is no risk of loss of credit card information. We will also immediately notify all users as to what information was accessed during the breach and will immediately notify the authorities of the breach.

What third parties we receive data from

We receive information from the merchant banking system regarding the status of your credit card transaction. We only know if the transaction was successful or not. We are not provided with any reasons for denial.
